Durante un interminabile viaggio in treno Olbia-Cagliari nell'Agosto del 91 lessi questo libro stupendo. Attraverso la struggente storia d'amore dei due protagonisti sperimentai la sofferenza che il Muro provocò a tante persone. A Rita non fu permesso di raggiungere il fidanzato Manfred a Berlino Ovest. Vedendo il muro ho chiuso gli occhi ed ho immaginato i due innamorati..
Il Muro è stato abbattuto, ciò nonostante tutti noi viviamo circondati da barriere di ogni genere ..fisiche, politiche, culturali, sociali e morali!
I was on an Olbia- Cagliari train, 9th August 1991, when I read this wonderful book. Through the eyes of the characters, I experienced the deep suffering the Wall caused to many people. Rita was not allowed to join her boyfriend Manfred in West Berlin. I saw the wall, closed my eyes..and imagined the two lovers...
Although the Wall has fallen, we all live prisoners of physical, political, cultural, social and moral barriers.
